South Korea’s top men’s professional soccer league, the K League, has partnered with AI-powered video production platform WSC Sports to enhance the league’s digital content offerings. The deal marks the Tel-Aviv-based WSC Sports’ first with a Korean sports league.

WSC’s artificial intelligence will analyze soccer matches in real time to automatically produce video highlights of key in-game moments to be published across social and digital channels. The partnership extends to both the K League 1 and K League 2, the top-two soccer tiers in South Korea. Both competitions had their regular seasons delayed due to COVID-19, but both leagues will resume play on May 8 without fans allowed in venues.

Other sports organizations such as the NBA, the PGA TourMLS, FIBA, Bundesliga, and Japan’s J League rely on WSC Sports to generate automated highlights. In February, Brazil’s National Basketball League became the first Brazillian sports league to partner with WSC. The platform can generate personalized highlights for specific players and edit clips without human intervention.
